Grunt is a stunning, big-boned (around 60 lbs) German Shepherd with an even bigger heart. He longs for a loving family to call his own again. He's an older guy at around 8 years old so he's a little more laid-back than a younger dog might be. What he'd love most from a family is a short game of fetch, a nice stroll in the sunshine, and evenings spent curled up by your side. He has met other dogs and has hung out nicely with both males and females. We believe he may have been someone's pet before he entered the shelter as a stray back in December. He seems to remember the comfort of housebroken living. Overcrowded shelters can be tough on even the sweetest souls, and Grunt is pining for a return to the love and stability of a family.
